Main Duties:
In this full-time position, you will deliver high-quality specialist medical care and contribute to the development of junior medical staff across a variety of disciplines.
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based clinical services to a diverse patient population
Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team
Supervise and support junior doctors, medical students, and allied health professionals
Engage in quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and research
Participate in the on-call roster and provide timely responses to acute care needs
What Kind of Patients Will You See?
You will work with a wide range of patient presentations including complex chronic diseases, acute medical admissions, and care for vulnerable and underserved populations, particularly in Aboriginal health.

You will join a collegiate and collaborative team of medical specialists, junior doctors, nursing staff, and allied health professionals. The hospital supports an academic and research-driven culture with strong interdepartmental relationships.
On-Call Rota:
There is an established on-call roster, and availability to respond on-site within a reasonable timeframe is expected.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist
Fellowship of the appropriate College
Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills
A commitment to teaching, quality improvement, and clinical research
Willingness to participate in the on-call service
